Charissa Thompson

Thompson left FOX Sports in 2010 and did double duty hosting both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos for the incredibly popular Yahoo platform. She also managed the website's coverage of high-profile occasions, such as events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Her show was successful across both of these areas. This resulted in her joining ESPN in August 2011. In this role she hosted the newly created afternoon program "Numbers Never Lie" that was broadcast on ESPN. In the following year, she was promoted towards "SportsNation," she enjoyed an extended run of great success. Thompson left ESPN for FS1's launch the following month in Los Angeles, May 2013 before returning to Los Angeles. Thompson is a passionate sporting fan but has shown the flexibility needed to make the transition from sports into entertainment. Thompson was hired as the co-host on"Extra", a Hollywood magazine "Extra" on June of 2014 following a string of part-time gigs. Filming episodes took place at Universal Studios and also worked at award shows, celebrity celebrations and many other occasions. Charissa Charissa Charissa
